Arrived in Perth yesterday lunchtime to glorious sunshine and a very pleasant 29C. Had a fantastic flight over from Joburg with Qantas as Dylan slept for most of it. (If anyone from BA is reading this - sort your baby seats out!) Getting through Perth airport was a dream and the nice man at customs even stamped our visas which was a helluva relief :-)
We are now staying with our friends Megan and Michael and their kids in their wonderful house in Sorrento (Dylan has never seen so many toys). After breakfast this morning we walked down the road to the beach, took a dip in the Indian Ocean and watched the kids cause havoc. Might summon up the energy to go for a coffee this afternoon.A couple of days of this then the final leg to Sydney to catch up with family and friends.
Can't wait.

Just wanted to check-in and say hi and that I'm reading this. I'm sitting at work but it's cool to read where you are up to. V jealous - can just picture a stroll down to the beach, glorious sunshine etc. Sadly it's not that way here at all!! Still, had a very good weekend for Dan's birthday and the car is finally getting fixed so it's not all bad.
Talk to you properly when you finally stop moving for a bit!

Hi there!! Glad to hear Mr D managed the flight ok. He left his "carro" here! We already miss having you here, and Megan still asks every now and again "Where Dinnin?". Please put some more pics up so that I can show her where he is.
Well, enjoy your last few "free" days as I am sure that Chris is ready to hit the 9 - 5 again.
